For parents & students

Your potential deserves an opportunity.

Classes III–IX. Two examination layers. 25 scholarships in every class.

The student journey

Register. Write. Qualify. Be recognised.

  1. 01

    Register

The usual path is through a participating JSTE school. A parent or guardian can also register a child directly.

  2. 02

    Layer 1

Every eligible registered student writes the first examination — the qualifying stage.

  3. 03

    Qualify

Progress to Layer 2 follows the published Layer 1 criteria. Those criteria will be published before Layer 2.

  4. 04

    Layer 2

Only Layer 1 qualified candidates write the second paper. No walk-ins. No extra fee.

  5. 05

    Results

Results follow the JSTE evaluation process. Dates are announced when ready.

  6. 06

    Recognition

Eligible top-performing students are identified class-wise and celebrated at felicitation.

The fee

What the fee covers

One registration fee covers both layers. Paying does not guarantee Layer 2.

  • Application form
  • Registration
  • Study materials / books
  • Sample question papers
  • Mock tests
  • Result analysis
  • Guidance and suggestions

The applicable registration fee covers both Layer 1 and Layer 2. Only candidates who qualify Layer 1 can appear for Layer 2. There is no separate Layer 2 examination fee.

Tuition is not included in the current fee structure.

What students can earn
